Co-founders and advocates of Action169 provide presentations on the various issues of commercial sexual exploitation, offering solutions, providing resources, and empowering attendees towards action.


Raising public awareness is a critical aspect of our prevention work. Awareness is a necessary step in eradicating sexual exploitation. Without awareness there is no effective and informed social action to combat the fastest growing social injustice of our time.

A key to decreasing the shocking statistics of exploitation is stronger family bonds, including the relationship between a daughter and her father. Stronger families mean fewer vulnerabilities in youth. When a father's heart is turned towards his child, honor is a byproduct.

Science tells us that the relationship between a father and child deeply impacts a child’s long-term development in many critical ways. Children with involved fathers are less likely to experience depression, teen pregnancy, risky behaviors such as substance use and more.  Vulnerability factors in a child's life can be decreased, and when vulnerabilities become less, the risk of being exploited also becomes less.

The presence of a father in a child's life is powerful. A man choosing to honor a daughter can change the world, hers.

Freedom Fighter Challenge

This challenge encourages the this and the next generation to take a stance against the commercial sex industry. In bringing awareness on what exploitation is and why it is important to take a stand against exploitation, it challenges individuals with real action steps that create cultural-level change.

The Freedom Fighter’s mini e-book is a free resource packed with details on the Freedom Fighter Challenge as well as a petition for individuals to take a stance, an action step, against exploitation.

Runway for Action

In partnership with designer dress businesses, Runway for Action presents pop-up, designer boutiques at local high schools where young ladies can shop for a new formal dress.

Dress purchases support the women who go through our restoration programs, including Rose House.
