52 Journal Prompts
Journaling has many benefits. By developing the habit of journaling, you are choosing to know yourself better and develop your own voice. Learn to organize your thoughts and think with clarity. Express your ideas and get creative. Go deep in your relationship with God as you seek Truth.
Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that she may run with it.

Identify 5-10 things you are grateful for.
Write out a scripture verse.
Write a few goals you have for the day. At the end of the day, come back and check off what you’ve completed.
Write down your top 3 priorities. What actions support your priorities?
Write affirmation statements based on the Truth of God’s Word.
Write affirmation statements about who you are. For example: I am creative.
Write down what you are hopeful for.
Identify what activities cause you to come alive. When is the last time you’ve done one of these activities?
What healthy actions did you engage in today?
Write down 3 people you are praying for. Take time to pray for each of them using God’s Word.
What was one characteristic you showed today that you like?
What was beautiful about today?
Where is there beauty in your life?
What are you proud of?
What are you looking forward too?
What gives you joy?
What drains you?
What are you reading in scripture?
What are you learning in scripture?
What has God been highlighting to you?
Write down major dreams that you remember. Take time to ask God about understanding your dreams.
Identify two people in your life you look up to and why?
What are your top values and what actions show these things are your values?
Identify what has been a struggle; however, remain solution focused. What are you doing, or thinking about the situation that helps?
How have you taken time to relax today?
What book are you reading right now? What are you learning from that book?
What do you feel strongly about?
Read and write about how Jesus handled a circumstance (The Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke or John).
Identify attributes of God by reading through scripture.
Write about a favorite bible story.
What has angered you and why? How have you handled this emotion?
Name two things that you do well.
What did you do today that made you feel happy?
What confirmations have you seen in your life lately?
What would you like to see yourself do more of?
What would you like to see yourself do less of?
What happened in your day today?
What is on your heart?
What do you need in your life?
What do you want to let go of?
Is there something holding you back?
Capture moments in your day.
Define solutions to a challenge you may be facing.
Write out a prayer.
What goals do you have for today, this week, or this year?
How have you showed somebody you love them?
What is something The Lord has impressed on your heart to do, but you haven’t done it yet.
What do you love about your relationship with God.
Who might it be good to set boundaries with and why?
Where are the places you feel the safest?
What scripture verses and or thoughts cause you to feel secure?
What scripture verses cause you to feel loved?
